SectionA.Section235.140,RSMo,isrepealedandonenewsectionenactedinlieu
2thereof,tobeknownassection235.140,toreadasfollows:
235.140.1.Atthegeneralmunicipalelectionintheyearafterthefirstfullcalendar
2yearaftertheorganizationofanydistrict, andbienniallyat[the]general[election] municipal
3electionsthereafter,thereshallbeelectedbythevotersofthedistrictonememberofthe
4boardtoserveforatermofsixyears.Nominations[may] shallbefiledwiththe[secretaryof
5theboard] electionauthorityforthejurisdictioninwhichthedistrictislocated.
6 2.Thecandidatesforboardmembershallbeelectedonaseparatenonpartisanballot.
7Thecandidatereceivingthemostvotesshallbeelected.Anynewmemberoftheboardshall
