4343 25January1,2024,ifanypoliticalsubdivisionwithjurisdictionoverabusiness
4444 26implementsanyshutdownorderorordersandthebusinessclosessolelyduetosuch
4545 27shutdownorderorordersforatleasttwenty-oneconsecutivedaysoratleastforty-five
4646 28cumulativedays,thefollowingshallapply:
4747 29 (a)Anyfeeforabusinesslicenseimposedbythepoliticalsubdivisionwith
4848 30jurisdictionoverthebusinessshallbewaivedforthebusinessduringtheperiodofthe
4949 31shutdownorderorordersorsixmonths,whicheverislonger.Feesforabusinesslicense
5050 32maybeprorated;and
5151 33 (b)Thepoliticalsubdivisionwithjurisdictionoverthebusinessshallreducethe
5252 34realandpersonalpropertytaxliabilityofsuchbusinessbasedonthenumberofdaysthe
5353 35businesswasshutdowninagivenyearasfollows:
5454 36 a.IftheshutdownorderorordersendbeforeJunefirst,theappropriateofficials
5555 37responsibleforassessingandlevyingrealandpersonalpropertytaxesandproviding
5656 38statementsoftaxesdueinthepoliticalsubdivisionwithjurisdictionoverthebusiness
