Prohibits vapor products dealer storefronts, cannabis retail licensee storefronts, and adult-use on-site cannabis consumption licenses within one mile of school grounds, houses of worship, parks, and playgrounds, and in mixed-use buildings in which there are one or more residences; requires the revocation of the certificate of occupancy of vapor products dealer storefronts, cannabis retail licensee storefronts, and premises with an adult-use on-site consumption license within one mile of school grounds, houses of worship, parks, and playgrounds, and in mixed-use buildings in which there are one or more residences, in accordance with a specified schedule.
Authorizes the town justice of the town of West Almond, county of Allegany, to be a nonresident of such town, so long as such person resides in Allegany county.
Requires the department of health to establish a registry for the collection of information on the incidence and prevalence of amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) and motor neuron disease (MND) in the state; requires that every physician, nurse practitioner, physician assistant and general hospital that diagnoses or treats a patient diagnosed with ALS or MND give notice to the department of cases of ALS or MND coming under their care; requires that patients diagnosed with ALS or MND be provided with written and verbal notice regarding the collection of information and patient data on ALS and MND and provides a method for patients to opt out of the collection of data; provides for duties of the department and the commissioner of health in relation thereto.
Makes annual state reimbursement for expenditures for certain approved community service projects by counties to be proportional to such county's share of elderly persons living in the state.
Dedicates a portion of the state highway system including the bridge on the South Service Road, between Federal Circle and Perimeter Road Overpass, crossing over the Van Wyck Expressway in Jamaica to Port Authority Police Officers Arthur M. Ansert Jr. and William J. Leahy.
Provides retroactivity to the original date of eligibility for the senior citizens rent increase exemption (SCRIE) and disability rent increase exemption (DRIE).
Prohibits contributions or donations to be made by hostile foreign nations in connection with a state or local election; makes a knowing violation of such provisions a class A felony, subject to an additional civil penalty equal to the contribution or donation amount plus a fine of up to ten thousand dollars.
Exempts internal communication by a labor organization aimed at its members from the definition of independent expenditures for purposes of campaign finance reporting.
Establishes the crimes of unlawful dissemination or publication of intimate images in the first, second, and third degree; defines terms and clarifies application of provisions relating to such crimes; extends the statute of limitations for such crimes; repeals provisions relating thereto.
