An Act relating to emergen cy room capacity; making an
appropriation to the University Hospital Authority;
identifying source and amount of appropriation;
referencing actions of the Joint Committee on
Pandemic Relief Funding; a nd providing for
noncodification.
SUBJECT: Emergency room capacity
BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF OKLAHOMA:
SECTION 1. NEW LAW A new section of la w not to be
codified in the Oklahoma Statutes reads as follows:
From the Statewide Recovery Fund cre ated pursuant to Enrolled
House Bill No. 3349 of the 2nd Sessi on of the 58th Oklahoma
Legislature, the sum of Seven Million Five Hundred Thousand Dollars
($7,500,000.00) shall be appropriated to the University Hospital
Authority for capital expenditures to incre ase emergency room
capacity as recommended and approved by the Joint Committee on
Pandemic Relief Funding on December 6, 2021. Such funds shall be
used to expand the needed capacity to help serve patients in mental
health crisis.
