2862 BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF OKLAHOMA:

3063 SECTION 1. NEW LAW A new section of law to be codified
3164 in the Oklahoma Statutes as Section 3229 of Title 63, unless there
3265 is created a duplication in numbering, reads as follows:

3795 University Hospitals Authority shall report the total value of the
3896 sales tax exemption from the prior fiscal year to the Governor, the
3997 Speaker of the House of Representatives, the President Pro Tem pore
4098 of the Senate, the Chair of the House Appropriations and Budget
4199 Committee or successor committee, and the Chair of the Senate
42100 Appropriations Committee or successor committee as part of its
43101 annual budget and performance review materials submitted for t he
44102 fiscal year beginning July 1, 2024, and for fiscal years thereafter.
45103 The Authority shall further report the total number of filled
46-resident positions and the number of nursing graduates of the ENR. H. B. NO. 2874 Page 2
104+resident positions and the number of nursing graduates of the
47105 University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center compared to t he
48106 baseline numbers for fiscal year 2021 as part of the same report
49107 each year. The University Hospitals Trust shall confirm for each
50108 fiscal year beginning in fiscal year 2023 that any nonprofit entity
51109 which has entered into a joint operating agreement wit h the Trust
52110 and is subject to the provisions of paragraph 30 of Section 1356 of
53111 Title 68 of the Oklahoma Statutes has budgeted an amount equal to or
54112 greater than the baseline amount for fiscal year 2021 for physician
55113 and nursing workforce development, and the Trust shall verify that:

57114 1. The nonprofit entity subject to these provisions has
58115 increased funding to the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences
59116 Center College of Medicine in a sufficient amount to support seventy
60-additional medical residency positions by fiscal year 2025 than the
61-baseline amount supported in fiscal year 2021;
