An Act relating to counties and county officers;
amending 19 O.S. 2021, Section 514.3, wh ich relates
to fingerprinting fees; providing for increase in fee
amount for fingerprint cards; providing maximum fee
amount; and providing an effective date.
SUBJECT: Counties and county officers
BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF OKLAHOMA:
SECTION 1. AMENDATORY 19 O. S. 2021, Section 514.3, is
amended to read as follows:
Section 514.3 The sheriff may charge Five Dollars ($5.00) an
amount not to exceed Fifteen Dollars ($15.00) per card for
fingerprinting individuals. This section shall not be ap plicable to
fingerprinting individuals pursuant to the Oklahoma Self -Defense
Act. All fees collected pursuan t to this section shall be deposited
into the Sheriff's Service Fee Account.
SECTION 2. This act shall become effective November 1, 2022.
