47210 BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF OKLAHOMA:

49211 SECTION 1. AMENDATORY 36 O.S. 2021, Section 6060, is
50212 amended to read as follows :

52213 Section 6060. A. For the purposes of this section ,:

54214 1. "Breast magnetic resonance imagin g" means a diagnostic tool
55215 used to produce detailed pictures of the structure of the breast;

57216 2. "Breast ultrasound" means a noninvasive, dia gnostic imaging
58217 technique that uses high-frequency sound waves to pro duce detailed
59218 images of the breast;
219+3. "Diagnostic examination for breast cancer" means a medically
220+necessary and appropr iate examination, as determined by a clinician

61-3. "Diagnostic examination for breast cancer" means a medically
62-necessary and clinically appropriate examination, as defined by
63-current guidelines and as determined by a clinician who is
64-evaluating the individual for breast cancer, to evaluate the

75254 This examination may include, but is not limited to, a
76255 diagnostic mammogram, breast magnetic resonance imaging, or a breast
77256 ultrasound;

79257 4. "Diagnostic mammography" means a diagnostic to ol that:

81258 a. uses X-ray, and

83259 b. is designed to evaluate abnormality in a breast;

85260 5. "Health benefit plan" means any plan or arrangement as
86261 defined in subsection C of Section 6060.4 of this title;

88262 2. 6. "Low-dose mammography" means:

91264 specifically dedicated for suc h purpose, with an
92265 average radiation exposure deliver y of less than one

99269 3. 7. "Breast tomosynthesis" means a radiologic mammography

101297 stationary breast to produce cross-sectional digital three-
102298 dimensional images of the breast from which breast cancer screening
103299 diagnoses may be made; and

105300 8. "Screening mammography" means a radiologic procedure
106301 provided to a woman, who has no signs or symptoms of b reast cancer,
107302 for the purpose of early detection of breast cancer, including
108303 breast tomosynthesis .

110304 B. All health benefit plans shall include the coverage
111-specified by this section for a low -dose mammography screening for
112-the presence of occult breast cancer and a diagnostic examination
113-for breast cancer. Such coverage shall not:

306+diagnostic examination for the presence of occult breast cancer.
307+Such coverage shall not:
115308 1. Be subject to the policy deductible, co -payments and co-
116309 insurance limits of the plan; or

118310 2. Require that a female undergo a mammography scr eening at a
119311 specified time as a condition of payment.

121312 C. 1. Any female thirty-five (35) through thirty-nine (39)
122313 years of age shall be entitled pursuant to the provisions of this
123314 section to coverage for a lo w-dose mammography screening once every
124315 five (5) years.

126316 2. Any female forty (40) years of age or ol der shall be
127317 entitled pursuant to the provisions of this section to coverage for
128318 an annual low-dose mammography screening.
319+SECTION 2. This act shall become effective November 1, 2022.
