3839 An Act relating to the practice of pharmacy; allowing

4849 BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF OKLAHOMA:
4950 SECTION 1. NEW LAW A new section of law to be codified
5051 in the Oklahoma Statutes as Section 353.1c of Title 59, unless there
5152 is created a duplication in numbering, reads as follows:
5253 A pharmacist licensed by the State Board of Pharmacy may
5354 prescribe nonprescription drugs in accordance with state and federal
5455 laws and rules that are to be used for compounding of
5556 nonprescription ingredients. The prescription shall only be valid
5657 at the pharmacy where such pharmacist is employed or under contract.
5758 The Board may promulgate rules to implement this section.
5859 SECTION 2. This act shall become effective November 1, 2022.
