148 | 237 | 8. "Dentistry" means the practice of dentistry in all of its | |

206 | 336 | requiring a minimum number of hours of approved education and | |
207 | 337 | training and/or recognition by a nationally recognized association | |

210 | 339 | 18. "Direct supervision" means the supervisor y dentist is in | |
211 | 340 | the dental office or treatment facility and, during the appointment, | |

231 | 381 | consciousness during which patients a re not arousable, even b y | |
232 | 382 | painful stimulation. The ability to independently maintain | |
233 | 383 | ventilator function is often impaired. Patients often require | |
234 | 384 | assistance in maintaining a patent airway, and positive pressure | |
235 | 385 | ventilation may be required because of dep ressed spontaneous | |
236 | 386 | ventilation or drug-induced depression of neuromuscular function. | |

239 | 388 | 22. "General supervision" means the supervisory dentist has | |
240 | 389 | diagnosed any conditions to be treated within the past thirteen (13) | |

243 | 392 | treatment within a reasonab le time as determined by the nature of | |

262 | 435 | authorized under Sections 328.15A and 328.43a of this title, to | |
