45	38		An Act relating to ABLE accounts and programs;
46	39		requiring executive agencies, boards, commissions and
47	40		departments to make information available regarding
48	41		ABLE accounts; specifying methods for distribution of
49	42		information; requiring contracting entities to
50	43		provide information regarding ABLE accounts;

57	50		BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF OKLAHOMA:
58	51		SECTION 1. NEW LAW A new section of law to be codified
59	52		in the Oklahoma Statutes as Sec tion 4001.6 of Title 56, unless there
60	53		is created a duplication in numbering, reads as fo llows:
61	54		A. Any agency, board, commission, department or entity
62	55		organized within the executive branch that has contact with persons
63	56		who might be able to utilize the provisions of the Oklahoma ABLE Act
64	57		and establish an account for an eligible beneficiary shall have
65	58		information readily accessible to persons with whom th e agency might
66	59		have contact, in the form of a brochure or other publication or by
	60	+	making information about the program available o n the agency website
	61	+	or both.
	62	+	B. Subsection A of this section s hall be applicable to:

96		-	B. Subsection A of this section shall be applicable to:
97	89		1. The State Department of Education;
98	90		2. The Oklahoma State D epartment of Health;
99	91		3. The Department of Hu man Services;
100	92		4. The Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse
101	93		Services;
102	94		5. The Department of Rehabilitation Services; and
103	95		6. The Oklahoma Department of Veterans Affairs.
104	96		C. Any entity that enters into contract with the governmental
105	97		entities described by subsection A of this section shall also, as a
106	98		condition of the contract, make information available using the same
107	99		or similar methods as those used by the executive branch entities.
108	100		SECTION 2. This act shall become effective July 1, 2023.
109	101		SECTION 3. It being immediately necessary for the preservation
110	102		of the public peace, health or safety, an emergency is hereby
111	103		declared to exist, by reason whereof this act shall take effect and
112	104		be in full force from and after its passage and approval.
