5750 BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF OKLAHOMA:
5851 SECTION 1. NEW LAW A new section of law to be codified
5952 in the Oklahoma Statutes as Sec tion 4001.6 of Title 56, unless there
6053 is created a duplication in numbering, reads as fo llows:
6154 A. Any agency, board, commission, department or entity
6255 organized within the executive branch that has contact with persons
6356 who might be able to utilize the provisions of the Oklahoma ABLE Act
6457 and establish an account for an eligible beneficiary shall have
6558 information readily accessible to persons with whom th e agency might
6659 have contact, in the form of a brochure or other publication or by
60+making information about the program available o n the agency website
61+or both.

96-B. Subsection A of this section shall be applicable to:
9789 1. The State Department of Education;
9890 2. The Oklahoma State D epartment of Health;
9991 3. The Department of Hu man Services;
10092 4. The Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse

10294 5. The Department of Rehabilitation Services; and
10395 6. The Oklahoma Department of Veterans Affairs.
10496 C. Any entity that enters into contract with the governmental
10597 entities described by subsection A of this section shall also, as a
10698 condition of the contract, make information available using the same
10799 or similar methods as those used by the executive branch entities.
108100 SECTION 2. This act shall become effective July 1, 2023.
109101 SECTION 3. It being immediately necessary for the preservation
110102 of the public peace, health or safety, an emergency is hereby
111103 declared to exist, by reason whereof this act shall take effect and
112104 be in full force from and after its passage and approval.
