2356 BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF OKLAHOMA:

2557 SECTION 1. AMENDATORY 43 O.S. 2021, Section 150.1, is

3892 3. "Custodial responsibility " refers to legal custody, physical
3993 custody or visitation rights with respect to a child;

4194 4. "Deploying parent" means a legal parent of a minor child or
4295 the legal guardian of a child, who is a member of the United States
4396 Armed Forces, civilian personnel or contractor serving in designated
4497 combat zones or duty stations and who is deployed or has been
4598 notified of an impending deployment;

4799 5. "Deployment" means the temporary transfer of a
48100 servicemember, civilian personnel or contractor serving outside
49101 their residential zone , or in designated combat zones, in compliance
50102 with official orders to another location in support of comb at,
51103 contingency operation, or natural di saster requiring the use of
52104 orders for a period of more than thirty (30) consecutive days,
53105 during which family members are not authorized to accompany the
54106 servicemember at government expense. Deployment shall includ e any
55107 period during which a servicemembe r, civilian personnel or
56108 contractor serving outside their residential zone , or in designated
57109 combat zones, is absent from duty on acc ount of sickness, wounds,
58110 leave or other lawful cause, and shall also include any t ransfer
59111 pursuant to military orders requiring presence in a foreign co untry;

61112 6. "Guardian" means a person who has been appointed a s a
62113 guardian of a minor or incapacitated a dult pursuant to the
63114 requirements of Title 30 of the Oklahoma Statutes. The term s hall

64141 include a limited guardian, but shall not include a guardian ad

67143 7. "Nondeploying parent" means a legal parent or guard ian who
68144 is not deployed and who has a chil d or ward in common with a

71146 8. "Residential zone" means a seventy-five-mile radius
72147 surrounding a servicemember's permanent place of dwelling located
73148 within the servicemember's state of legal residence o r domicile;

75149 9. "Servicemember" means a member of either:

77150 a. the active or reserve components of the Army, Navy,
78151 Air Force, Marine Corps, Space Force, or Coast Guard,

81153 b. the active or reserv e components of the National
82154 Guard; and

84155 9. 10. "Visitation" means the right to take a child for a
85156 limited period of time to a place other than the habitual residence
86157 of the child.

88158 SECTION 2. It being immediately necessary fo r the preservation
89159 of the public peace, health or safety, an emergency is hereby
90160 declared to exist, by reason whereof this act shall take effect and
