55 | 52 | | BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOP LE OF THE STATE OF OKLAHOMA: |

56 | 53 | | SECTION 1. NEW LAW A new section of law to be codified |
---|
57 | 54 | | in the Oklahoma Statutes as Section 13001 of Title 74, unless there |
---|
58 | 55 | | is created a duplication in numberin g, reads as follows: |

59 | 56 | | A. There is hereby created the Accessibility of Government |
---|
60 | 57 | | Services Task Force. The Task Force shall be composed of the |
---|
61 | 58 | | following eleven (11) members: |
---|
62 | 59 | | 1. The Executive Director of Service Oklahoma or designee, who |
---|
63 | 60 | | shall serve as the chair of the Task Force; |
---|
64 | 61 | | 2. The Cabinet Secretary of Licensing and Regulation or |
---|
65 | 62 | | designee; |
---|
94 | 90 | | 4. The President Pro Tempore o f the Oklahoma State Senate shall |

95 | 91 | | appoint: |

96 | 92 | | a. a current member of the Oklahoma Stat e Senate, and |

100 | 96 | | 5. The Speaker of the Oklahoma House of Rep resentatives shall |

114 | 110 | | 7. One member who is a licensed operator, selected by the |

115 | 111 | | Licensed Operator Advis ory Committee, who is a current licensed |

116 | 112 | | operator in good standing with the Service Oklahoma Operator Board |

151 | 146 | | B. Appointments to the Task Force shall be made by September 1, |

152 | 147 | | 2024. Vacancies in any position shall be filled in the same ma nner |

154 | 149 | | C. A majority of the members shall constitute a quor um for the |
---|
155 | 150 | | purpose of conducting the busines s of the Task Force. The Task |
---|
156 | 151 | | Force shall meet quarterly and at such other times as may be called |
---|
157 | 152 | | by the chair. |
---|
158 | 153 | | D. Members of the Task Force shall serve without compensation |
---|
159 | 154 | | but shall be reimbursed for expenses incurred in the performance of |
---|
160 | 155 | | their duties in accordance with the provisions of the State Travel |
---|
161 | 156 | | Reimbursement Act. |
---|
162 | 157 | | E. The Task Force shall: |

163 | 158 | | 1. Study, evaluate, and make recommendations regarding |
---|
164 | 159 | | strategies to enhance and/or improve the accessibility o f government |
---|
165 | 160 | | services offered by Oklahoma st ate agencies; |

202 | 196 | | licensing boards of this state, the Oklah oma Medical Marijuana |

203 | 197 | | Authority, and the Vital Records office of the State Department of |

204 | 198 | | Health, shall make all information and records availab le to the Task |
---|
205 | 199 | | Force as the Task Force may r equire. Additionally, state agencies |
---|
206 | 200 | | and boards shall also make thei r employees available to the Task |
---|
207 | 201 | | Force for the Task Force t o interview and gather information. |
---|
208 | 202 | | G. On or before December 1, 2024, the Task For ce shall prepare |
---|
209 | 203 | | a report of its findings an d recommendations to be submitted to the |
---|
210 | 204 | | Governor, the Speaker of the Oklahoma House of Representatives, the |
---|
211 | 205 | | President Pro Tempor e of the Oklahoma State Senate, and the minority |
---|
212 | 206 | | leaders of both the Oklahoma House of Representatives and the |
---|
213 | 207 | | Oklahoma State Senate. |
---|
214 | 208 | | H. Administrative support for the task force including, but n ot |
---|
215 | 209 | | limited to, personnel necessary to ensu re the proper performa nce of |
---|
216 | 210 | | the duties and responsibilities of the task force shall be provided |

251 | 244 | | declared to exist, by reason whereof this act shall take effect and |

252 | 245 | | be in full force from and after its passage an d approval. |
