COMMITTEE SUBSTITUTE
An Act relating to the Progressing Rural Economic
Prosperity Fund; transferring and appropriating
funds; establishing amounts and sources; specifying
purpose; and providing for nonc odification.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF OKLAHOMA:
SECTION 1. NEW LAW A new section of law not to be
codified in the Oklahoma Statutes reads as follows:
The Director of the Office of Management and Enterprise Services
shall transfer on the effective date of this act the s um of One
Hundred Forty-five Million Dollars ($145,000,000.00) of the funds
appropriated to the Oklahoma Department of Commerce by Section 1 of
Enrolled House Bill No. 1038 of the 1st Extraordinary Session of the
59th Oklahoma Legislature to the Progressing Rural Economic

Prosperity Fund created in Section 256 of Title 62 of the Oklahoma
Statutes, to be budgeted and expended in acco rdance with law.
SECTION 2. NEW LAW A new section of law not to be
codified in the Oklahoma Statutes re ads as follows:
There is hereby appropriated to the Progressing Rural Economic
Prosperity Fund created in Section 256 of Title 62 of t he Oklahoma
Statutes from any monies not otherwise appropriated from the General
Revenue Fund of the State Treasury for th e fiscal year ending June
30, 2024, the sum of One Hundred Five Million Dollars
($105,000,000.00) to be budgeted and expended in acco rdance with
law.
