30148 BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF OKLAHOMA:

32149 SECTION 1. AMENDATORY 26 O.S. 2021, Sectio n 2-129, is
33150 amended to read as follows:

35151 Section 2-129. A. 1. For any election held on or after July
36152 1, 2020, and prior to July 1, 2024, the inspector shall be paid One
37153 Hundred Ten Dollars ($110.00).

39154 2. For any election held on or after July 1, 2024, and prior to
40155 July 1, 2028, the inspector shall be paid One Hundred Twenty -five
41156 Dollars ($125.00).

43157 3. For any election held on or after July 1, 2028 the effective
44158 date of this act, the inspector shall be paid One Hundred Fifty
45159 Dollars ($150.00) Two Hundred Twenty-five Dollars ($225.00).

53189 2. For any election held on or after July 1, 2024, and prior to
54190 July 1, 2028, judges and clerks shall be paid One Hundred Fifteen
55191 Dollars ($115.00).

58193 date of this act, judges and clerks shall be paid One Hundred Thirty
59194 Dollars ($130.00) Two Hundred Dollars ($200.00).

61195 C. B. Precinct officials as signed to work a polling place ten
62196 (10) miles or more from their home, shall be allowed mileage
63197 reimbursement at the rate provided by the State Travel Reim bursement
64198 Act for mileage incurred from their home to and from their assigne d
65199 polling place. In addi tion, inspectors shall be allowed mileage
66200 reimbursement at the rate provided by the State Travel Reimbursement
67201 Act for mileage incurred to receive or retur n ballots and materials
68202 for the election.

70203 D. C. Compensation and mileage re imbursement provided herein
71204 shall be paid for any election conducted by a county election board.

73205 E. D. 1. Five Dollars ($5.00) of the compensation described in
74206 subsections A, and B and C of this section shall be paid by the
75207 county election board from cou nty funds and the remaind er shall be
76208 paid by the State Election Board for all regular Primary, Runoff
77209 Primary and General Elections for state and federal offices, for the
78210 Presidential Preferential Primary Election, and for all statewide

80238 Representatives or United States Senators and State Senators or

83240 2. Except for elections described in paragraph 1 of this
84241 subsection, for all other elect ions conducted by a county election
85242 board, the entity for whic h the election is being conducted shall
86243 pay the compensation and mileage reimbursement described in
87244 subsections A, and B, and C of this section; provided, if an
88245 election for more than one entity is conducted in the same precinct,
89246 the entities shall equally share the cost of precinct official
90247 compensation and mileage reimbursement for that precinct.

94248 F. E. The secretary of the county election board may appoint
95249 volunteer precinct officials who shal l not receive the compensation
96250 provided herein by this section.
251+SECTION 2. It being immediately necessary for the preservation
252+of the public peace, health or safety, an emergency is hereby
253+declared to exist, by reason whereof this act shal l take effect and
254+be in full force from and after its passage and approval.
