AS INTRODUCED
An Act relating to the Oklahoma Tax Commission;
amending 68 O.S. 2021, Section 114, which relates to
membership fees for Commission m embers or employees;
authorizing Commission to pay certain organizational
dues and continuing education costs; making language
gender neutral; and providing an effective date .
BE IT ENACTED BY THE P EOPLE OF THE STATE OF OKLAHOMA:
SECTION 1. AMENDATORY 68 O.S. 2021, Section 114, is
amended to read as follows:
Section 114. The Oklahoma Tax Commission may expend monies to
pay membership fees for Commission members or employees of the
Commission in regional or national tax associations, dues for
membership in professional organization s, or costs related to
continuing education for Commission members or employees of the
Commission who are certified public accountants or licensed
attorneys as the Commission deem s in the best interest of this state
for education and training in tax administration, practices, and
procedures, and any other fees required to be paid by an employee in
the performance of his or her official duties.
