SENATE JOINT
RESOLUTION 22 By: Bergstrom
AS INTRODUCED
A Joint Resolution approving proposed permanent rules
of the State Department of Education; and directing
distribution.
WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 308.3 of Title 75 of the Oklahoma
Statutes, the Legislature shall have a joint resolution prepared for
consideration each session.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE SENATE AND THE HOUSE OF
REPRESENTATIVES OF THE 1S T SESSION OF THE 60TH OKLAHOMA LEGISLATURE:
SECTION 1. The Legislature hereby approves all proposed
permanent rules submitted on or before February 1, 2025 , by the
State Department of Education except:
1. 210:1-1-6, disapproving the pro posed amendment to subsection
(a), and restoring the previous rule language;
2. 210:1-3-11, disapproving the proposed amendment to paragraph
(4) of subsection (c), and restoring the previous rule language;
3. 210:1-5-3, disapproving paragraph (3) of subs ection (a);

4. 210:10-1-5, disapproving paragraphs (4), (5), (6) , and (7)
of subsection (d);
5. 210:10-1-18, disapproving the proposed amendment to
paragraph (4) of subsection (d), after the word “within”, and before
the word “days”, and restoring the pr evious rule language;
6. 210:20-13-1, disapproving the proposed amendment to
subsection (c), and restoring the previous rule language; and
7. 210:25-5-4, disapproving subsections (h) and (i).
SECTION 2. The Secretary of State is hereby directed to
distribute copies of this resolution to the Governor, the State
Department of Education, and the editor of “The Oklahoma Register ”.
