| 5 | 5 | | WHEREAS, The Texas House of Representatives is pleased to |

| 6 | 6 | | recognize the members of the Leadership Fort Worth Class of 2009 who |

| 7 | 7 | | are traveling to Austin on April 16 to visit the State Capitol and |

| 8 | 8 | | to learn more about state government; and |

| 9 | 9 | | WHEREAS, Over the course of the 10-month program, these |

| 10 | 10 | | public-spirited citizens are offered many opportunities to gain |

| 11 | 11 | | valuable insight into significant public issues and to visit with |
|---|
| 12 | 12 | | leaders who make crucial decisions on policies that affect their |
|---|
| 13 | 13 | | community; and |

| 14 | 14 | | WHEREAS, The members of Leadership Fort Worth are committed |

| 15 | 15 | | to building a more involved citizenry, and through their |

| 16 | 16 | | participation in this notable endeavor, they are helping to create |

| 17 | 17 | | a brighter future for the Lone Star State; now, therefore, be it |

| 18 | 18 | | RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 81st Texas |

| 19 | 19 | | Legislature hereby commend the members of the Leadership Fort Worth |

| 20 | 20 | | Class of 2009 for their civic engagement and volunteerism and |

| 21 | 21 | | extend to them sincere best wishes for a memorable and enjoyable |
