| 14 | 14 | | BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: |

| 15 | 15 | | SECTION 1. Effective January 1, 2010, Section 201.052, |

| 16 | 16 | | Transportation Code, is amended to read as follows: |

| 17 | 17 | | Sec. 201.052. TERMS. Members of the commission serve |

| 18 | 18 | | two-year [staggered six-year] terms, with the terms [of either one |

| 19 | 19 | | or two members] expiring February 1 of each odd-numbered year. |

| 20 | 20 | | SECTION 2. Effective January 1, 2014, Section 201.052, |

| 21 | 21 | | Transportation Code, is reenacted to read as follows: |

| 22 | 22 | | Sec. 201.052. TERMS. Members of the commission serve |
