| 12 | 12 | | BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: |

| 13 | 13 | | SECTION 1. Subchapter A, Chapter 22, Government Code, is |

| 14 | 14 | | amended by adding Section 22.0071 to read as follows: |

| 15 | 15 | | Sec. 22.0071. DISCLOSURE OF INDIVIDUAL VOTES OF MEMBERS. |

| 16 | 16 | | In an order granting, refusing, dismissing, or denying a petition |

| 17 | 17 | | for review, the supreme court shall state how each member voted on |
|---|
| 18 | 18 | | the petition or application. |

| 19 | 19 | | SECTION 2. Section 22.0071, Government Code, as added by |

| 20 | 20 | | this Act, applies only to an order of the Supreme Court of Texas on a |

| 21 | 21 | | petition for review issued on or after the effective date of this |
