4	4	SENATE CONCURRENT RESOLUTION
5	5	WHEREAS, Senate Bill No. 726 has been adopted by the senate
6	6	and the house of representatives and is being prepared for
7	7	enrollment; and
8	8	WHEREAS, The bill contains technical errors that should be
9	9	corrected; now, therefore, be it
10	10	RESOLVED by the 81st Legislature of the State of Texas, That
11	11	the enrolling clerk of the senate be instructed to correct Senate
12	12	Bill No. 726 by striking SECTION 3 (conference committee report
13	13	page 19, lines 2 through 6) and substituting the following:
14	14	SECTION 3. (a) Except as provided by Subsection (b) of
15	15	this section, this Act takes effect immediately if it receives a
16	16	vote of two-thirds of all the members elected to each house, as
17	17	provided by Section 39, Article III, Texas Constitution. If this
18	18	Act does not receive the vote necessary for immediate effect, this
19	19	Act takes effect September 1, 2009.
20	20	(b) Chapter 8855, Special District Local Laws Code, as added
21	21	by Section 1 of this Act, takes effect September 1, 2009.
