The bill would amend the Transportation Code to define provider as a public transportation provider that provides public transportation for people with disabilities, and services as public transportation services provided by a public transportation provider designed for people with disabilities. A provider would be required to determine if a person who seeks to use a providers services while visiting the providers service area is eligible within two business days after an individual provides the appropriate notice and required documentation.
