| 15 | 15 | SECTION 1. Subsection (a), Section 36.111, Water Code, is | |
| 16 | 16 | amended to read as follows: | |
| 17 | 17 | (a) The district shall keep and may require that records be | |
| 18 | 18 | kept and reports be made of the drilling, equipping, and completing | |
| 19 | 19 | of water wells and of the production and use of groundwater and | |
| 20 | 20 | shall annually provide those records and reports to the Texas Water | |
| 21 | 21 | Development Board. | |
| 22 | 22 | SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 2013. | |
