                    LEGISLATIVE BUDGET BOARD    Austin, Texas      FISCAL NOTE, 84TH LEGISLATIVE REGULAR SESSION            May 18, 2015      TO: Honorable John Whitmire, Chair, Senate Committee on Criminal Justice      FROM: Ursula Parks, Director, Legislative Budget Board     IN RE:HB1617 by Paddie (Relating to authorizing certain real property transactions involving the Department of Public Safety of the State of Texas.), As Engrossed    No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.  The bill would authorize the Department of Public Safety to convey certain real property described in the bill to the First United Pentecostal Church in the city of Center, Texas, in exchange for certain real property described in the bill.  The bill would take effect immediately upon a two-thirds majority vote of all Members in both chambers.  Otherwise, the bill would take effect September 1, 2015. Local Government Impact No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
