| 10 | 10 | | BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: |

| 11 | 11 | | SECTION 1. Section 29.005, Education Code, is amended by |
|---|
| 12 | 12 | | adding Subsection (d-1) to read as follows: |
|---|
| 13 | 13 | | (d-1) In compliance with Subsection (d), the district shall |
|---|
| 14 | 14 | | provide the child's individualized education program in audiotape |
|---|
| 15 | 15 | | form if requested by the parent. Audiotaped copies shall include |
|---|
| 16 | 16 | | all components of the individualized education program required |
|---|
| 17 | 17 | | under state or federal law that are developed or revised by the |
|---|
| 18 | 18 | | committee. |
|---|
| 19 | 19 | | SECTION 2. This Act applies beginning with the 2015-2016 |
|---|
| 20 | 20 | | school year. |
|---|
| 21 | 21 | | SECTION 3. This Act takes effect immediately if it receives |
|---|
| 22 | 22 | | a vote of two-thirds of all the members elected to each house, as |
|---|
| 23 | 23 | | provided by Section 39, Article III, Texas Constitution. If this |
|---|
| 24 | 24 | | Act does not receive the vote necessary for immediate effect, this |
|---|
| 25 | 25 | | Act takes effect September 1, 2015. |
