                    LEGISLATIVE BUDGET BOARD    Austin, Texas      FISCAL NOTE, 85TH LEGISLATIVE REGULAR SESSION            April 19, 2017      TO: Honorable Garnet Coleman, Chair, House Committee on County Affairs      FROM: Ursula Parks, Director, Legislative Budget Board     IN RE:HB2725 by González, Mary (Relating to the composition of the board of directors of a stormwater control and recapture planning authority in certain counties.), As Introduced    No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.  The bill would amend the Local Government Code to modify the composition of the Board of Directors of a stormwater control and recapture planning authority in certain counties.According to the Department of Transportation, no significant fiscal impact is anticipated, and duties can be managed using current resources. The bill would take effect immediately if it receives a vote of two-thirds of each house.  If it does not receive the vote necessary for immediate effect, it would take effect September 1, 2017. Local Government Impact Because the bill would not have statewide impact on units of local government of the same type or class, no comment from this office is required by the rules of the House/Senate as to its probable fiscal implication on units of local government.
