46 AN ACT
57 relating to the repeal of certain riders for the Texas Medical Board
68 and the Texas State Board of Examiners of Psychologists from the
79 General Appropriations Act that are contingent upon the approval of
810 certain Acts continuing those agencies during the 85th Regular
911 Session.
1012 BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS:
1113 SECTION 1. The following riders to S.B. 1, Acts of the 85th
1214 Legislature, Regular Session, 2017 (the General Appropriations
1315 Act), are repealed:
1416 (1) Rider 6 following the appropriations to the Texas
1517 Medical Board (page VIII-35); and
1618 (2) Rider 2 following the appropriations to the Texas
1719 State Board of Examiners of Psychologists (page VIII-51).
1820 SECTION 2. This Act takes effect immediately if it receives
1921 a vote of two-thirds of all the members elected to each house, as
2022 provided by Section 39, Article III, Texas Constitution. If this
2123 Act does not receive the vote necessary for immediate effect, this
2224 Act takes effect on the 91st day after the last day of the
2325 legislative session.
