 R E S O L U T I O N
 WHEREAS, Rehm Nathanael Maham of Boy Scouts of America Troop
 No. 271 in Cedar Park has attained the rank of Eagle Scout, and this
 accomplishment truly merits special recognition; and
 WHEREAS, The Eagle Scout badge is a significant honor
 bestowed on only a small fraction of those who enter the scouting
 movement; in the course of meeting the rank's demanding criteria,
 Mr. Maham earned the requisite 21 merit badges, including those
 requiring expertise in such diverse areas as archery, leatherwork,
 and public speaking; he also successfully completed an Eagle Scout
 project that involved refurbishing benches for Covenant
 Presbyterian Church in Austin; and
 WHEREAS, The son of Jennifer and Michael Maham, this fine
 young Texan has demonstrated outstanding leadership ability
 throughout his scouting career, winning the respect and admiration
 of his fellow troop members while serving as an assistant senior
 patrol leader; and
 WHEREAS, A senior at Cedar Park High School, Mr. Maham has
 further distinguished himself through his roles as student body
 vice president, band president, and debate captain; and
 WHEREAS, Eagle Scout Maham's dedication to excellence and his
 perseverance in the pursuit of his goals have proven him worthy to
 stand among scouting's elite, and he may indeed reflect with pride
 on a job well done; now, therefore, be it
 RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 86th Texas
 Legislature hereby congratulate Rehm Nathanael Maham on achieving
 the rank of Eagle Scout and extend to him sincere best wishes for
 continued success and happiness; and, be it further
 RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
 prepared for Eagle Scout Maham as an expression of high regard by
 the Texas House of Representatives.
