4	6		AN ACT
5	7		relating to emergency contact and medical information maintained by
6	8		the Department of Public Safety.
7	9		BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS:
8	10		SECTION 1. Section 521.060(e), Transportation Code, is
9	11		amended to read as follows:
10	12		(e) The forms and procedures established and maintained
11	13		under Subsection (d) must:
12	14		(1) comply with Subsection (c); and
13	15		(2) allow the holder of a driver's license or personal
14	16		identification certificate or an authorized agent of the holder to
15	17		add, amend, or delete information described by Subsection (d) by
16	18		submitting an electronic form on the department's Internet website.
17	19		SECTION 2. Not later than January 1, 2020, the Department of
18	20		Public Safety of the State of Texas shall produce and make available
19	21		on the department's Internet website an electronic form in
20	22		accordance with Section 521.060(e), Transportation Code, as
21	23		amended by this Act.
22	24		SECTION 3. This Act takes effect September 1, 2019.
