57 relating to emergency contact and medical information maintained by
68 the Department of Public Safety.
79 BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS:
810 SECTION 1. Section 521.060(e), Transportation Code, is
911 amended to read as follows:
1012 (e) The forms and procedures established and maintained
1113 under Subsection (d) must:
1214 (1) comply with Subsection (c); and
1315 (2) allow the holder of a driver's license or personal
1416 identification certificate or an authorized agent of the holder to
1517 add, amend, or delete information described by Subsection (d) by
1618 submitting an electronic form on the department's Internet website.
1719 SECTION 2. Not later than January 1, 2020, the Department of
1820 Public Safety of the State of Texas shall produce and make available
1921 on the department's Internet website an electronic form in
2022 accordance with Section 521.060(e), Transportation Code, as
2123 amended by this Act.
2224 SECTION 3. This Act takes effect September 1, 2019.
