57 relating to the calculation of costs in interagency contracts
68 between certain state agencies and the State Office of
79 Administrative Hearings.
810 BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS:
911 SECTION 1. Section 2003.024(d), Government Code, is amended
1012 to read as follows:
1113 (d) This section does not apply to hearings conducted[:
1214 [(1) under Section 2003.047 or 2003.049; or
1315 [(2)] under the administrative license revocation
1416 program.
1517 SECTION 2. Section 2003.025(a), Government Code, is amended
1618 to read as follows:
1719 (a) This section applies to a state agency that has entered
1820 into a contract with the office for the conduct of hearings and
1921 alternative dispute resolution procedures for the agency,
2022 including a contract under Section 2003.024 or[, 2003.048,]
2123 2003.049[, or 2003.105], during any of the three most recent state
2224 fiscal years.
2325 SECTION 3. Sections 2003.048 and 2003.105, Government Code,
2426 are repealed.
2527 SECTION 4. The changes in law made by this Act apply only to
2628 an interagency contract entered into on or after the effective date
2729 of this Act. An interagency contract entered into before that date
2830 is governed by the law in effect immediately before the effective
2931 date of this Act, and the former law is continued in effect for that
3032 purpose.
3133 SECTION 5. This Act takes effect September 1, 2019.
