                            S.B. No. 1794


 AN ACT
 relating to the calculation of costs in interagency contracts
 between certain state agencies and the State Office of
 Administrative Hearings.
 BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS:
 SECTION 1.  Section 2003.024(d), Government Code, is amended
 to read as follows:
 (d)  This section does not apply to hearings conducted[:
 [(1)  under Section 2003.047 or 2003.049; or
 [(2)]  under the administrative license revocation
 program.
 SECTION 2.  Section 2003.025(a), Government Code, is amended
 to read as follows:
 (a)  This section applies to a state agency that has entered
 into a contract with the office for the conduct of hearings and
 alternative dispute resolution procedures for the agency,
 including a contract under Section 2003.024 or[, 2003.048,]
 2003.049[, or 2003.105], during any of the three most recent state
 fiscal years.
 SECTION 3.  Sections 2003.048 and 2003.105, Government Code,
 are repealed.
 SECTION 4.  The changes in law made by this Act apply only to
 an interagency contract entered into on or after the effective date
 of this Act. An interagency contract entered into before that date
 is governed by the law in effect immediately before the effective
 date of this Act, and the former law is continued in effect for that
 purpose.
 SECTION 5.  This Act takes effect September 1, 2019.
