                    LEGISLATIVE BUDGET BOARD     Austin, Texas       FISCAL NOTE, 87TH LEGISLATIVE REGULAR SESSION             March 11, 2021       TO: Honorable Victoria Neave, Chair, House Committee on Juvenile Justice & Family Issues     FROM: Jerry McGinty, Director, Legislative Budget Board      IN RE: HB1013 by Dutton (Relating to a requirement that a decree of divorce include the date of the marriage.), As Introduced     No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated. The bill would amend the Family Code to require that in a suit in which a court grants a divorce, the court must state the date of the marriage in the divorce decree. The bill would not apply to suits for dissolution of certain informal marriages.Based on information provided by the Office of Court Administration, no significant fiscal impact to the state court system is anticipated as a result from implementing the provisions of the bill.
