The bill would establish a legislative public health oversight board and require the Department of State Health Services (DSHS) commissioner to receive board approval to renew a public health disaster. DSHS indicates it could absorb the costs associated with implementing the bill within current resources.  Local Government ImpactNo fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
