2222 BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS:
2323 SECTION 1. The heading to Subchapter D, Chapter 58, Code of
2424 Criminal Procedure, is amended to read as follows:
2525 SUBCHAPTER D. CONFIDENTIALITY OF IDENTIFYING INFORMATION OF
2626 VICTIMS OF STALKING, INVASIVE VISUAL RECORDING, OR INDECENT ASSAULT
2727 SECTION 2. Article 58.151, Code of Criminal Procedure, is
2828 amended to read as follows:
2929 Art. 58.151. DEFINITION. In this subchapter, "victim"
3030 means a person who is the subject of:
3131 (1) an offense that allegedly constitutes:
3232 (A) stalking under Section 42.072, Penal Code;
3333 (B) invasive visual recording under Section
3434 21.15, Penal Code; or
3535 (C) indecent assault under Section 22.012, Penal
3636 Code; or
3737 (2) an offense that is part of the same criminal
3838 episode, as defined by Section 3.01, Penal Code, as an offense
3939 described by Subdivision (1) [under Section 42.072, Penal Code].
4040 SECTION 3. This Act takes effect September 1, 2023.
