AN ACT to amend 15.227 (15) (a) 7. of the statutes; relating to: membership of
the Agricultural Education and Workforce Development Council in the
Department of Workforce Development.
Analysis by the Legislative Reference Bureau
Current law creates an Agricultural Education and Workforce Development
Council in the Department of Workforce Development. Current law specifies that
one of the members of this council is the chancellor of the University of
Wisconsin-Extension or his or her designee.
This bill clarifies the description of this member as the dean of the University
of Wisconsin-Madison Division of Extension or his or her designee, consistent with
the University of Wisconsin System's restructuring approved by the Higher
Learning Commission in June, 2018.
The people of the state of Wisconsin, represented in senate and assembly, do
enact as follows:
SECTION 1. 15.227 (15) (a) 7. of the statutes is amended to read:
