2023 SENATE BILL 163
Under current law, the Agricultural Education and Workforce Development Council consists of
representatives of various agencies and organizations. One of the members is identified as the
“Chancellor of the University of Wisconsin—Extension.” The bill updates the membership listing for
that member to reflect the position’s current title as the “Dean of the University of Wisconsin—Madison
Division of Extension.”
SENATE AMENDMENT 1
Senate Amendment 1 updates certain statutory duties of the Council to also reflect the position’s current
title. The amendment does not change any of the Council’s duties.

Committee on Labor, Regulatory Reform, Veterans and Military Affairs recommended adoption of the
