Agricultural Education and
Workforce Development Council
As provided in current law, the membership of the Agricultural Education and Workforce Development
Council consists of representatives of various agencies and organizations. One of the members is
identified as the “Chancellor of the University of Wisconsin-Extension.”
2023 Wisconsin Act 152 updates the membership listing for that member to reflect the position’s
current title as the “Dean of the University of Wisconsin-Madison Division of Extension.” The act also
updates other references to that position in the Council’s duties to reflect the position’s current title.
The act does not change the Council’s membership or duties.
Effective date: March 23, 2024
