Subsection (4) of section 36 6.06, Florida 11 Statutes, is amended to read: 12 366.06 Rates; procedure for fixing and changing. — 13 (4) A natural gas utility or a public electric utility 14 whose annual sales to end -use customers amount to less than 1000 15 500 gigawatt hours may specifically re quest the commission to 16 process its petition for rate relief using the agency's proposed 17 agency action procedure, as prescribed by commission rule. The 18 commission shall enter its vote on the proposed agency action 19 within 5 months of the commencement date f or final agency 20 action. If the commission's proposed action is protested, the 21 final decision must be rendered by the commission within 8 22 months of the date the protest is filed. The 29 utility must keep accurate records of amounts received as 30 provided by subsection (3). 31 Section 2. This act shall take effect July 1, 2022. 32
