59 | 59 | | financial assistance under subsection (2), is experiencing an 34 |

60 | 60 | | emergency situation, and whose resources are insufficient to 35 |
---|
61 | 61 | | meet the emergency situation. Such assistance shall be in 36 |
---|
62 | 62 | | addition to any amount specified in paragraph (2)(b). 37 |
---|
63 | 63 | | (11) Notwithstanding the eligibility criteria or 38 |
---|
64 | 64 | | availability of services and support under subsections (2) and 39 |
---|
65 | 65 | | (3), the department may distribute federal funds to all young 40 |
---|
66 | 66 | | adults deemed eligible by the funding source in the event of a 41 |
---|
67 | 67 | | state of emergency declared by executive order or proclamation 42 |
---|
68 | 68 | | of the Governor pursuant to chapter 252 or the President of the 43 |
---|
69 | 69 | | United States. 44 |

70 | 70 | | Section 2. This act shall take effect July 1, 2024. 45 |
