AN ACT 
To authorize the conveyance of certain state property. 
 
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of Missouri, as follows: 
     Section 1.  1.  The governor is hereby authorized and 1 
empowered to sell, transfer, grant, convey, remise, re lease,  2 
and forever quitclaim all interest of the state of Missouri 3 
in property located in the City of Kirksville, Adair County, 4 
Missouri, to the Kirksville R -III School District.  The  5 
property to be conveyed is more particularly described as 6 
follows: 7 
All of Block thirty nine (39) of the Original 8 
Town (Now City) of Kirksville, Missouri. 9 
     2.  The commissioner of administration shall set the 10 
terms and conditions for the conveyance as the commissioner 11 
deems reasonable.  Such terms and conditions may include,  12 
but not be limited to, the number of appraisals required and 13 
the time, place, and terms of the conveyance. 14 
     3.  The attorney general shall approve the form of the 15 
instrument of conveyance. 16 
     Section 2.  1.  The governor is hereby authorized and 1 
empowered to sell, transfer, grant, convey, remise, release, 2 
and forever quitclaim all interest of the state of Missouri 3 
in property located in the City of Kirksville, Adair County, 4   SS SB 1296 	2 
Missouri to Truman State University.  The property to be  5 
conveyed is more particularly described as follows: 6 
Part of the Northwest Fourth (NW 1/4) of the 7 
Northeast Quarter (NE 1/4) Section 16 Township 8 
62 Range 15 Adair County, Missouri, beginning at 9 
a point Six Hundred Twenty -nine and One-half  10 
(629 1/2) feet South and Twenty (20) feet East 11 
of the Northwest (NW) Corner of said Forty acre 12 
tract, and running thence East Two Hundred 13 
Twenty-five (225) feet, thence South One Hundred 14 
Feet (100), thence West Two Hundred Twenty -five  15 
(225) feet, thence North One Hundred (100) feet 16 
to place of beginning; 17

All of the South one half (S 1/2) of Lot Two (2) 9 
in Block Forty one (41) in the City of Hannibal, 10 
Marion County, Missouri. 11 
All of the East eighty seven (87) feet of Lot 12 
one (1) in Block forty one (41) in the City of 13 
Hannibal, Marion County, Missouri. 14
